Wind Rivers Wyoming 2022

Our 2022 wilderness camping trip took us back to the Wind River range in Wyoming. A vast wilderness area of glacial carved peaks and lakes. Allowing for the advancing age of our group’s senior members (most notably me!), we worked with the Boulder Lake Lodge to ride horses and pack our gear for the approximately 12-mile, very uphill trek to North Fork Lake. We camped on the north end of the lake and spent the week fishing, visiting nearby lakes, and enjoying the beautiful scenery.
