Lunar Eclipses
A lunar eclipse occurs when the Sun, Earth, and Moon are nearly perfectly aligned and the Moon travels into and through the Earth's shadow. When in total eclipse, the Moon takes on a reddish / orange hue--called a Blood Moon.
